Samsung galaxy S10 durability test
Samsung Galaxy S10 which was launched recently has now been put to durability test by a Youtube channel named JerryRigEverything. If you are planning to buy the newly launched Galaxy S10 but are not sure if it will be able to stand the scratches and rough usage, then the latest video that has popped up on Youtube can surely help you in deciding what exactly the Galaxy S10 is capable of. The video shows how sturdy and strong the device’s display and camera module is. In the video it goes through various tests, from scratch to flame test, let’s see how it performed.
In the video, the Galaxy S10 firstly goes through the scratch test and holds up quite well. It’s 6.1-inch Infinity QHD+ AMOLED display proved to be sturdy while when it went through the bendability test, the phone proved to be well-built and strong.
Well, most of us would think that the under-display fingerprint sensor will surely not be able to stand the scratch test as it works differently in comparison to the normal fingerprint scanner. However, in the test, it could easily withstand the minor scratches and proved to work incredibly well. Its display and biometric undeniably operated in the same manner as it would perform without any scratches but, it should be noted that its scanner can probably stop working if any severe damage is made around the ultrasonic-display scanning area since the sensor is placed beneath the screen and a major crack on it, may disable the scanner.
The test gave us some interesting findings, however, we will have to wait for the smartphone to reach Indian shores to see how it works when it is received by the users. To recall, the Samsung Galaxy S10 price in India has been set at Rs. 66,900 for the 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage variant and Rs. 84,900 for the 512GB of inbuilt storage model. The Galaxy S10 will be made available in India starting from March 6, 2019.
